Local Man's Self-Help Library Now Requires Its Own Self-Help Book to Navigate
After accumulating over 300 personal development titles, area resident Brian Flemming now needs assistance finding the right book to solve his self-help dilemmas. "My girlfriend bought me 'Help! 12 Steps to Help You Organize Your Self-Help Collection' for my birthday," Flemming explained while searching for his misplaced copy of "Remember Where You Put Things." Flemming's collection has grown so vast that his living room now resembles the Hoarders Discount section at the local Goodwill. The irony that he needs fifteen minutes to locate his copy of "The One-Minute Manager" is not lost on him. "I've got 'The Magic of Decluttering' somewhere in here, probably under that pile on minimalism," Flemming said, gesturing toward a precarious tower of hardcovers threatening to topple onto his yoga mat. When asked which self-help principle has most improved his life, Flemming paused thoughtfully before admitting, "Well, none yet. But according to 'Achieving Patience: Why Good Things Come To Those Who Wait,' I'm right on schedule." Flemming's girlfriend, who recently moved her belongings to the hallway to make room for his "Relationships Without Compromise" collection, was unavailable for comment.
